A young Timothy finds himself in charge during the apostle Paul's first imprisonment. It would have been easy for Timothy to wonder WHAT AM I DOING? This letter from Paul is to encourage and remind Timothy what he is supposed to be DOING. He is to battle for the doctrine and teachings that have been established by God for His people the church. God is still using this letter today to lead us to ask, WHAT AM I DOING?
