SERIES: Matthew: The Kingdom. SPEAKER: Mat Shockney. SUMMARY: Whose kingdom are you building...your own...someone else’s...God’s? Who is the King of the kingdom you are building? Matthew’s Gospel puts King Jesus and His Kingdom plan on full display through His life, teaching, death, and resurrection. Jesus is portrayed as the only King who says, “Follow Me.” But, it requires dying to ourselves being king and building our kingdom. It means surrendering to the King to build THE KINGDOM.
