SERIES/ Nehemiah: Trouble & Disgrace SPEAKER/ Mat Shockney SUMMARY/ Nehemiah is cup-bearer to the King of Persia, in the fortress city of Susa. He receives a messenger with news the Jewish people are once again in the midst of TROUBLE AND DISGRACE. The king grants his request to return home to Jerusalem, giving him letters of authority and resources to rebuild the city’s walls.
