SERIES: Numbers Game: When Things Just Don't Add Up. SPEAKER: Trevor Kirtman. SUMMARY: Numbers are used to count, measure and label. For most, math is something we tolerate, as often the numbers just don't add up. In the Old Testament, the Book of Numbers is the story of the Hebrews' journey towards the Promised Land following the Exodus from Egypt. In it we find two censuses taken as they wander through the desert for forty years. When asked to take the land, the math just doesn't add up, and so they play a costly NUMBERS GAME. What do you do when things just don't add up?
